🌊 Benahavís Excursion – Two Adventure Options! 🌿
📍 Departure point: Huerta Julián Parking
🕘 Departure time: 09:00 h
🕔 Return time: 17:00 h
(Registration for families, depending on available places, opens on Tuesday the 9th at 00:00 h, strictly in order of registration.)
Option A – Explorer Route
(For younger children, bug lovers, and explorers who do not wish to take part in the aquatic route)
A fun nature route perfect for discovering small arthropods such as dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies, and many other fascinating insects, as well as a great variety of amphibians and reptiles.
The activity finishes at a small natural “beach” area where participants will be able to:
- Swim
- Enjoy small water jumps
- Use small zip lines
- Play and explore the surroundings
💧 Flexible activity:
This option can be either refreshing and partially aquatic or completely dry, depending on each explorer’s preference.
Option B – Aquatic Adventure Route
(For children over 7 years old with an appropriate intermediate or advanced physical level)
An exciting aquatic route including:
- Water jumps
- Natural water slides
- River sections
- Different aquatic challenges and activities
Mandatory equipment:
- Closed sports shoes with good grip
(old trainers are highly recommended)
🚫 Open footwear is not allowed.
Recommended equipment:
- Wetsuit or quick-dry thermal shirt (especially for younger participants)
- Swimsuit
- Breakfast and packed lunch*
📌 Important:
Explorers may decide until the very last moment, before the route begins, whether they want to participate in the aquatic route or switch to Option A.
🍳 Although every participant must bring their own packed lunch, the Club will provide sausages, eggs, and bottled water for all explorers.
🌱 To help protect this spectacular natural environment, we recommend avoiding non-biodegradable sunscreen, as it may negatively impact the aquatic ecosystem.
If any family does not have biodegradable sunscreen available, the Club will provide some options.
🦺 We have 50 helmets and life vests available, assigned in order of registration.
